John Pappas has been behind the lens for 20+ years having worked in many different types of video production and garnering multiple awards for cinematography and editing along the way.
John’s acumen doesn’t stop at cameras and editing. His years of cannabis growing and video production shone through when he and Mark produced a ”How to Grow” series where John wrote the script, grew all the plants while shooting and editing the videos. 3+ million views and counting proves that John’s ability to capture compelling content that speaks to a global audience cannot be beat.
After a lengthy career in the electronic music and global festival scene, Naasko pivoted into photography and found himself on a deep dive into the niche world of cannabis. Based in Nelson, BC, he enjoys the rich and colorful aspects of the ever-evolving cannabis culture that surrounds him in the Kootenays and beyond. In addition to capturing the essence of different cultivars through photography, Naasko is also the media and marketing manager for Sweetgrass Cannabis, a local licensed craft producer in Ymir.
Mark has an infectious zeal for life. It’s hard not to be stoked and positive when around him which brings up my game and ends up with a better product for our clients. And the bonus? We’re all having an awesome time on set.
